Economy

Fundamental to the EPEDC's mission is attaining economic growth and diversity in the five county region through job retention and new job creation. These two objectives together create an economic environment conducive to investment, capital formation, and increased capital access.

The EPEDC markets the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) of the Southeastern Montana Development Corporation (SEMDC) and the Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) as effective tools that provide free and confidential business counseling, as well as funds to improve business development, efficiency, and expansion.

Adding value to available resources and products through the formation of partnerships that minimize duplications of time, effort, and/or money is a priority.
